just now went to Darul Ghufran Mosque for my friday prayers. Masya' Allah there's a lot of poor people outside the mosque. Last week i went to Darul Aman mosque but i didn't see any. I went to Wak Tanjong Mosque few weeks back and there were some there. Anyway i shouldn't call them beggars cos they are not begging. They just hoping for some kind soul to give them a helping hand. Just like the malay sayings, " berat mata memandang, berat lagi bahu memikul ".

A friend of mine asked whether can we do the same thing if we are in their state. hmm i dunno how to answer him. But what i know is that these group of people we cannot discriminate them in any way because in surah an-nisa verse 36, Allah said: " dan hendaklah kamu berbuat baik kepada kedua ibu-bapa, dan kaum kerabat, dan anak-anak yatim, dan orang-orang miskin, dan jiran tetangga yang dekat, dan jiran tetangga yang jauh, dan rakan sejawat, dan orang musafir yang terlantar, dan juga hamba yang kamu miliki. sesungguhnya Allah tidak suka kepada orang-orang yang sombong takbur dan membangga-banggakan diri."
